And in all that time, I have never written about the do’s and don’ts of memory cards. Now that I am not on that side of the business any more, I feel that I can write this objective piece for. It does not matter until you tweak. There are a few things to consider. Cost, reliability, maintenance when it does fail, overclocking. Will that board run on only 1 stick or does it need to be in pairs? If the memory needs to be installed in pairs, then I think it would be better to have 4 sticks so you can troubleshoot memory.
